The story behind the foundation of our fabrication firm
Established in 2014 as a sister company to Landmarc, who specialise in environmental engineering, our family run business is driven by a profound passion for creativity and a commitment to delivering exceptional craftsmanship. At Dart Fabrication, we understand that every project is unique, and our small team of skilled craftsmen take pride in pushing the boundaries of design to create one-of-a-kind structures. Our journey began with a vision to redefine the traditional approach to fabrication, and over the years, we have honed our skills, embraced cutting-edge technologies, and fostered a culture of innovation.

We work in both the private and public sector and are committed to meeting high standards of safety and quality and are certified to BS EN 1090, execution class 3 for those bigger, slightly more complex projects.
We are passionate about creating something special for each client, and that’s what we believe sets us apart from larger companies that may prioritise quantity over quality. We do not mass produce and like each and everyone of our projects to be bespoke and unique, working closely with the customer to grasp their vision and turn it into reality.

Team members behind Dart Fabrication
The team at Dart Fabrication in Totnes, Devon, brings together skilled engineers and fabricators with years of hands-on experience. Known for their precision, reliability, and friendly approach, they take pride in delivering high-quality metalwork tailored to each client’s needs. Whether it’s bespoke fabrication or large-scale structural work, the Dart Fabrication team is committed to excellence at every stage.
Ben Haddy
Fabrication Manager
Ben, an agricultural engineering apprentice, shifted to metal work and managed a blacksmith shop. He joined Landmarc, leading to DF’s creation. Now, he designs bespoke items and manages Dart Fabrication. Off-duty, Ben enjoys his farm bar, paddle-boarding, and music festivals.
Ed Tolchard
Fabricator
Ed grew up fixing farm equipment and later worked at an agricultural repair workshop. Joining Dart Fabrication in 2022, he excels with the CNC Plasma table and heavy steel. He helps with cattle and poultry on the family farm and enjoys fishing and mountain biking.
Karl Rundle
Fabricator
Karl started working with Ben at the blacksmiths, learning to weld. After a brief change, he joined Dart Fabrication, excelling in metalwork. His attention to detail is unmatched. Part-time at DF, he enjoys travelling, crafting, and good food.
Hannah Evans
Office Administrator
Hannah, a former Landmarc employee, joined Dart Fabrication as an office administrator in 2023. She balances this role with her dog grooming business and loves coastal walks with her dogs.
