Ed Tolchard

Growing up on his family farm, Ed has always been familiar with repairing farm equipment from a young age. He’s always enjoyed tinkering with steel, working on various smaller projects at home, which led to him getting a job at a local agricultural repair workshop where he worked for 5 years repairing, building and servicing farm machinery.

Ed joined DF in 2022 after wanting to explore his interest in bespoke fabrication and design. He’s happiest when using our CNC Plasma table, but also enjoys fabricating heavy steel such as beams.

In his spare time, he helps on the family farm with the cattle, and there’s not a lot he doesn’t know about poultry! When not on the farm, he enjoys fishing and mountain biking.
