Our clients wanted a 3ft entrance gate in steel, inspired by wooden designs. Using traditional and modern techniques, we crafted a unique gate, involving the clients throughout the process to ensure their satisfaction and involvement.
We were approached by our clients who had a design in mind for a new 3ft entrance gate. The issue being, all the designs they liked could only be found in wood, but they wanted it in steel. So, Ben came up with a few ideas, sketched them out, and they found one they liked.
Using a mixture of traditional and modern techniques, hand-forging, riveting, and CNC plasma cutting, this lovely little project came to life. We feel that it is important to get the clients involved from start to finish, so we invited them to the workshop mid-way through the production.
A few tweaks here and there, they left with a smile and we carried on with the knowledge not only that they were getting something special, but also, they had a physical involvement. The project involved a blend of old and new methods to create a gate that met the clients' aesthetic desires in a different material.
The use of hand-forging and CNC plasma cutting ensured precision and quality. The clients' involvement at various stages ensured their expectations were met, and they felt a part of the process, leaving them highly satisfied with the final product.
